Annona dolabripetala Seeds
Annona dolabripetala, also known as Lancewood, is a tree that typically grows between 5 to 7 meters tall. The tree is native to Brazil and primarily grows in the seasonally dry tropical biome. Its leaves are one main leaf - not compoundsimple, longish to narrow oval shape tapering to a pointlanceolate, ranging from 5 to 13 cm long and 1.5 to 3.2 cm wide, with a blunt or tilted base.
The tree produces greenish, originating from the axilaxillary flowers, which are followed by small, yellow fruits that are edible and sweet. It is occasionally cultivated and is closely related to Annona, a genus native to the Caribbean and northern South America.
