Melothria dulcis

Melothria dulcis is a native wild climber found in the regions of the Andes, Pacific, and Valle del Magdalena, thriving at altitudes between 0 to 1000 meters. This species is particularly common around Regencia, Bolivar at an elevation of 300 meters. The plant produces aromatic fruits that are highly palatable when ripe.
