Plinia cauliflora "Acu Paulista of Otto Anderson"

A variety of jabuticaba found native to the State of São Paulo, it has large, rounded fruits, some of which have a slight beak on the top, close to the stem, which suggests that this species is a natural cross between Jabuticaba Paulista x Ponhema. With sweet and juicy pulp, it has excellent flavor. Juices, jellies, ice creams and liqueurs can be consumed fresh.

There is a variation of this Jabuticaba Açu Paulista selected in the Otto Andersen Collection of the Federal University of Viçosa, where the skin is completely purple,
