Tontelea micrantha "Bacuparizão"

Bacuparizão, also known as Tontelea Micrantha, is a semi-drops leaves annuallydeciduous, upright shrub that typically reaches 1 to 2 meters in height.

The shrub bears edible fruit, which is occasionally gathered from the wild and consumed locally. The fruit has a slightly sweet and pleasant flavor, with a like gelatin, extremely softmucilaginous pulp.
