Shipping policy

We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not meet our shipping policies. Complete refunds will be provided to orders that we cancel.

United States of America Orders

We have full-time jobs that occasionally require travel, for this reason, orders may be shipped at our discretion outside of our designated shipping date. Tracking numbers will be provided with all orders.

Most seeds are shipped in humid vermiculite sealed in an air-tight bag to retain moisture.

• You are responsible for understanding the shipping requirements of plant materials to your state.
  

• Seed products are generally shipped in USPS flat-rate small boxes, including tracking numbers and $50 insurance.

• Plant products are generally shipped USPS Priority Mail and package size is based on product orders.

• Depending on the products ordered, multiple packages may be required to fulfill your complete order. We will not increase box sizes to reduce package numbers. Utilizing larger box sizes generally results in a greater risk of movement and damage during shipment. For these reasons we limit the box sizes, we use to ship our products.

 

International Orders

• Import Regulations
  Seeds are considered regulated goods in most countries. There are countless regulations governing their export and import and it is up to the customers to inform themselves of the regulations for their own countries before import.
  
  All shipments will be designated as "Seeds" or "Garden Supplies" in the customs declaration. Please do not request alternative declarations as they will be denied.
  
  Many countries require a phytosanitary certificate (phyto) to allow a shipment of seeds to cross their borders. The phyto is issued by our agricultural inspectors and accompanies a shipment of seeds to certify its freedom from harmful organisms such as insects, fungus, etc.
  
  Depending on the destination, a phyto is mandatory, optional, or not required. It is the customer's responsibility to understand their country of import phytosanitary requirements and include a phytosanitary certificate request upon checkout. If specific statements are required within the requested phytosanitary certificate please leave them in the comments and follow up with an email. Some countries require an import permit from your department of agriculture to have a phyto issued. It is absolutely necessary that customers check the website of their Department of agriculture for import requirements before placing an order. We are not liable for shipments that are confiscated or rejected because the order contains seeds that are forbidden for import or are not accompained by the required documentation.
