This slow-to-moderate-growing species typically reaches up to 6 meters (around 19 feet) in height. The fruit of Garcinia bahiensis has a green skin that remains green even when fully ripe, concealing a cottony white pulp that is both sweet and slightly acidic—pleasantly balanced and refreshing.
