Annona macroprophyllata "Escamas"

Ilama (Annona macroprophyllata), a tropical native of Central and South America, presents a captivating combination of flavors and textures. Ilama "Escamas" is a fruit that seems to be carved by human hands. Structurally one of my favorite annona fruits I've ever seen; its flavor is uniquely creamy like Ilama "Blanca" with an aroma and smell of roses.
