Annona maritima

An extremely rare member of the Annonaceae family. It is a rare and native/restricted toendemic plant of the Atlantic Forest of the restinga and can only be found in the states of the southern region of Brazil. The fruits are small, and can be consumed out of hand. The fruits pulp can also be frozen for future use or immediately for making juices, sparkling wines, and jellies.  This tree can grow to 3-4 meters tall.
