Annona purpurea

Annona purpurea is a drops leaves annuallydeciduous tree with a broad, spreading canopy of a treecrown; it can grow up to 10 meters or more tall. The short the trunk of a treebole can be 45cm in diameter. The fruit is consumed raw and also made into juice. The abundant pulp has a pleasant, aromatic, mango-like flavor. The fruit turns brown to gray when ripe and is about 15 - 20cm in diameter.
