Annona rugulosa

Annona rugulosa is a drops leaves annuallydeciduous tree found in higher elevation forests of South and East Brazil and said to be a cold tolerant species. The tree has a dense, wide canopy of a treecrown. It can grow 7 - 14 meters tall.. The the trunk of a treebole can be 30 - 40cm in diameter, usually branching from quite low down. The fruit has a sweet, acidic pulp. The subspherical; globe shapedglobose fruit is about 6cm in diameter.
