Annona xylopiifolia

Annona xylopiifolia is a species of plant in the Annonaceae family. It is native/restricted toendemic to the Atlantic Forest ecoregion of Brazil, specifically in the regions of Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo. This species is a tree that primarily grows in the wet tropical biome. It is a small to medium-sized tree that is closely related to Annona and is occasionally cultivated.

The species is very rare and is rarely collected in the wild. The foliage of large and old trees of this species is much smaller and has a similar appearance to the genus.
