Artocarpus integer "Chempedak" Seeds

Artocarpus integer, also known as "Chempedak," is a fast-growing evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. It can reach up to 24 meters tall with a short the trunk of a treebole up to 60 cm in diameter.

This plant has many uses, including being cultivated for its edible fruit, which is golden-yellow and slimy with a sweet flavor similar to durian and mango. The fruit is eaten fresh, fried with flour, or made into a pudding, or the unripe fruit is used as a cooked vegetable or added to soups. The fruit is almost spherical; globe shapedglobose, up to 9 cm long, 20-35 cm long, and 10-15 cm wide, and can weigh from 600-3,500g.
