Baccaurea lanceolata Seeds
Baccaurea lanceolata is a tree with a dense canopy of a treecrown that can grow up to 30 meters tall. It is harvested from the wild for its edible fruit and medicinal properties.
The fruit is spherical; globe shapedglobose and about 38 mm x 60 mm in size, and is borne in clusters of up to 20 fruits. The pericarp and specialized outward growth surrounding a seedarillode are edible but sour, and are usually eaten with sugar or salt.
