Campomanesia sp. "Folhas longas e enrugadas"

A new species of Campomanesia found in Bahia. The plant has extremely beautiful wrinkled, slender, long, pointed, glossy foliage. The fruit is a vibrant yellow-orange with a delicious sweet pulp. Many experts in Brazil say this is not C. reitziana but a unique species. The collector indicated that this new species has more pulp and fewer seeds than C.. reitziana.
