Brosimum gaudichaudii "Mama Cadela" Seeds
Brosimum gaudichaudii, commonly known as "Mama Cadela," is a drops leaves annuallydeciduous shrub or small tree that can grow up to 8 meters tall, but exceptional specimens can reach up to 25 meters in height. It is native to Paraguay, central, eastern, and northern Brazil, and Bolivia. The trunk is typically straight and cylindrical, with a diameter of 20-40cm.
The fruit has a fibrous and succulent pulp with a sweet and pleasant flavor. The fruits are approximately 4cm in diameter, and the juice is sweet and sticky, similar to gum, and can be chewed.
