Eugenia mattosii Seeds
Eugenia mattosii is a small shrub that grows up to 1 meter in height and is native to the Atlantic coast of Santa Catarina at lower altitudes. It has a highly branched base forming a dense rounded canopy of a treecrown.
The plant produces sub-spherical; globe shapedglobose fruits with a shiny red smooth skin, which are edible. Both the rind and pulp of the fruit have a sweet, minimal acid flavor.
