Eugenia paranapanemensis "Pitanga Amarela do Paranapanema"

Eugenia paranapanemensis, also known as "Pitanga Amarela do Paranapanema", is a tree species found in the Seasonal Forest vegetation of the Atlantic Forest in Sao Paulo state.

It can grow up to 25 meters in height and has flowers with a smooth and pubescent an enlargement of the opening of a flowerhypanthium, brownish to having a brownish-yellow colorochraceous a small hair or other outgrowth from the skintrichomes, and yellow fruits with up to six seeds. The bark is corrugated; wrinkledrugose, gray to whitish, and peels in regular like papyrus; paperypapyraceous plates.
