Plinia cauliflora "Otto Anderson Selection I" is from the Otto Anderson collection at Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) in Minas Gerais, Brazil. This jaboticaba tree has an upright growth habit with a dense canopy of a treecrown. The 4-7cm leaves are smooth and sometimes wavy.
The large fruit can reach 3+ cm, has abundant production, and the taste is one of the best Jaboticaba cultivars. This cultivar produces fruit at 8-12 years old, like most other Plinia caulifloras.
