Salacia elliptica "Siputa"

Salacia elliptica, also known as "Siputa," is an evergreen tree with a dense, round canopy of a treecrown that can grow between 4 to 8 meters in height. Its short, crooked, and cylindrical the trunk of a treebole can have a diameter of 30 to 40cm.

The tree bears edible fruit with a pleasant taste, which is typically harvested from the wild and consumed locally. The fruit can grow up to 7cm in diameter.
