A fantastic, wild Duguetia from lowland rainforests in Colombia and Venezuela. It is said to be maybe the best tasting of the Duguetia's and Annona's, with pinkish-red-yellow colored fruits have bright yellow-orange pulp. Flavor is very sweet, with tones of peach/apricot. The fruits grow to about the size of a regular apple. Small or medium tropical tree. It is an initially slow growing tree and starts bearing fruit after 8 to 9 years under good conditions. The tree is ultratropical and seeds start germinating after about 1 year.
