Duguetia sp. "Maranhão Escolinha das crianças" is a beautiful newly selected species of Duguetia native to Maranhão. The tree’s name comes from the location where it was discovered near a children’s school.

The fruit is slightly elongated with a beautiful yellow-green color with peachy orange undertones. The pulp is said to be an extremely pleasant taste.
