Eugenia aff. fructacostata

Eugenia aff fructacostata is a small myrtaceae, forming trees of up to 6 m, which produce a large load of fruits with a sweet flavor and attractive to humans.

Its red and orange fruit when ripe has sided formations, large fruits measuring up to 4cm

Its origin is Bahia, being a species on the Atlantic Ocean coast of the Brazilian biome known as MATA ATLANTICA, forests of great biodiversity

Species recently elucidated and still extremely rare in cultivation, an option for all myrtaceae collectors looking for large fruits and good production from their plants.

Formally identified as Eugenia sp. "Chapada Diamantina"
