Eugenia candolleana "Rainforest Plum"

Eugenia candolleana is a species of plant in the family Myrtaceae, commonly known as the "rainforest plum" or "uvaia do cerrado". It is native to Brazil and found in the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest regions. The tree can reach up to 15 meters in height, and has shiny, dark green leaves.

The fruit is a dark purple, almost black berry, with a diameter of 1 to 2 cm, and a sweet and tangy flavor. The fruit is commonly consumed fresh, as well as used in the production of jams and juices.
