Eugenia francavilleana Seeds
Eugenia francavilleana is an evergreen shrub or small tree with a dense, pyramidal canopy of a treecrown when young, becoming more open and spherical; globe shapedglobose in older trees, growing 4 - 6 metres tall. The tree is sometimes harvested from the wild for local use of its wood. It can be used as a pioneer species when restoring native woodland or establishing woodland gardens and, with its elegant canopy of a treecrown, it can be used for landscaping.
The fruit is red to black, spherical; globe shapedglobose to pear-shaped, and around 15mm in diameter with a fleshy, sweetish tasting pulp.
