Eugenia luschnathiana "Pitomba"

Eugenia luschnathiana is an evergreen tree native Zona da Mata do Noveste, Brazil. Trees can reach 5-10 m in height. Trees flower between August and September, with spherical; globe shapedglobose or oblong thin skined ornage/yellow fruit.

Fruit has a fleshy, succulent texture with the color and taste of apricot. Fruit ripen in Decemeber to January in it native habitat.
