Eugenia neoverucosa

This is an ultra rare variety of Eugenia discovered in Santa Catarina. The fruits are very unique, turning red/yellow when fully ripe, with a rough and bumpy skin. The flesh is cottony, with not a lot of juicy. The fruit itself doesn’t have much of a flavor, but are edible. This is one to collect for the ornamental properties, as the fruits are one of a kind!
