It is also called Cereja da cerra and Cereja elongated or Cereja hairosa. Native to the dense and mixed forests of the states of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná and Santa Catarina.Tree grown in full sun, reaching 2 to 4 m in height.
