Eugenia sp. "Mel Vermelho/Red Honey"

Eugenia sp. "Mel Vermelho" or "Red Honey" is a shrub that can reach up to 5 meters tall. It produces exceptionally small fruit, starting in shades of white and pink before ripening to a vibrant red. The leaves of the shrub are light green, creating a bright and refreshing display of foliage and intense flowering.

As its name suggests, the fruit of this eugenia is incredibly sweet, one of the sweetest varieties found in Brazil.
