Eugenia sp. "Preta"

Eugenia sp. "Preta" is a substantial eugenia species that produces oblong, round fruit. Its leaves are thick, rounded, and have a light green color. As the fruit matures, it undergoes a color transformation from bright red to darker shades of red before ultimately turning black.

Growing up to 10 meters tall in understory areas of Restinga and Dense Forest in Alagoas, this tree produces thousands of sweet, delectable fruit with a light and pleasant taste, free from any sourness/acidity.
