Garcinia sp. "Squat" is a ‘new’ American Garcinia species. It is an unusual American garcinia, in that it is a very small and flowering/bearing at an early ageprecocious tree, also monoecious and very productive.

Fruits are small, and the flavor is sweet to sub-acid with a cottony-like texture similar to Inga.
