Myrciaria sp. "Yasuni"

Myrciaria sp. Yasuni Jaboticaba is a type of wild-growing Jaboticaba relative found in Yasuní National Park in the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest. It produces purple fruits with sweet and highly aromatic pulp, which can be harvested around eight years after planting.

This species is distinct from Plinia yasuniana.
