Myrciaria plinioides "Cambuí" Seeds
Myrciaria plinioides, also known as "Cambuí," "Camboim," or "Cambuim," is a species of plant in the family Myrtaceae. This shrub is native to Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sol, found in seasonal forests and Atlantic rainforests. Cambuí can grow up to heights of 3-5 meters and has pink leave flushes.
The plant flowers in October-November in its native habitat. The fruit of Cambuí is subspherical; globe shapedglobose berries with blue to blueish-purple coloration, and it has a succulent sweet pulp.
