Platonia insignis "De Bico"

Platonia insignis, also known as bacuri, is a tropical fruit tree species native to Brazil, specifically in the Amazon Basin, as well as in several other countries in South America, such as Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela. Bacuri trees can reach a height of 25 meters and produce round or oval-shaped fruit that is yellow-green when unripe and brownish-yellow when ripe.

The fruit has a hard shell and contains a soft, white pulp with a unique flavor that is described as a combination of sweet and sour, with a creamy texture.

This variety also has a pronounced tip.
