This unique variety, discovered in a home orchard in rural Tatuí, São Paulo, produces medium-sized, black fruits with a distinctive cracked, striped surface and a light-colored mini disc at the the highest point or vertex of a plant stemapex. The fruits contain 2–3 seeds and are celebrated for their juicy, sweet pulp.
