Plinia coronata "Rajada de Tatuí" is a medium-sized tree, growing 3-10 meters tall, with an elongated and dense cup. This variety was collected from a home orchard in the rural area of the city of Tatuí - SP. The tree produces medium-sized black fruits with a cracked surface, containing 2-3 seeds, and always featuring a light-colored mini disc at the the highest point or vertex of a plant stemapex.

The pulp is juicy and sweet, and the variety is known to be very productive.
