Plinia inflata "Shawi" Seeds
Plinia inflata, also known as "Shawi," produces sweet and slightly acidic fruits that are consumed raw. The resembling an eggovoid berry fruits are approximately 10 x 15 cm with thin yellow to orange skin and a white, slightly aromatic flesh.
The species is cultivated on a small scale around Palora, Ecuador, and is similar to a fruit called "Mulchi," cultivated in the Napo Province about 80 km NW of Palora.
Seeds are imported directly from Ecuador.
