Plinia nana "Cabinho Verde"

Plinia nana "Cabinho Verde" is a cultivar of Plinia nana with a beautiful red coloration near the the stalk bearing a flower or fruitpeduncle and green coloration. Like other variants of Plinia nana, it is a shrub with fine branches and is native/restricted toendemic to the Cerrado and Campo Rupestre regions of central Minas Gerais.

It also has sweet, watery pulp that is not acidic and does not adhere to the seed, which is a unique characteristic of jaboticabas. The cultivar is grown by collectors.
