Plinia nana "Tigrada"

Plinia nana "Tigrada" features a stunning green and purple gradient (rajada) coloration, and is a variety of the common Plinia nana, which has a shiny deep purple coloration and a thick extended neck (pescoço) below the the stalk bearing a flower or fruitpeduncle.

It is a 0.5 - 1.5 meter shrub with fine branches, native/restricted toendemic to the Cerrado and Campo Rupestre in the central region of Minas Gerais, and is cultivated by collectors.
