Plinia salticola (Dwarf Mulchi) is native to the southern tip of North America, namely Costa Rica and Panama. The tree is slow growing but rather flowering/bearing at an early ageprecocious flowering at just 4-5 years old and takes the form of a small bush if left to grow without pruning.

The tree produces yellow 3cm fruits with scant pulp which is sweet and a bit spicy. Dwarf Mulchi produce multiple times per year dependably once established.
