Plinia sp. "Rajada Graúda"

Plinia sp. "Rajada Graúda" is a stunning jaboticaba variety characterized by its moderately dense canopy of a treecrown and mature leaves measuring 3–8 cm, with a smooth texture and semi-gloss sheen. The fruit is spherical; globe shapedglobose, featuring a thin skin, small seed, and gelatinous pulp with an exceptional sweet flavor. Measuring 2–3 cm in diameter, the fruit grows on a short the stalk bearing a flower or fruitpeduncle (under 1 cm) and often displays unique bronze or tan stripes or scarring, giving it its "Rajada" (striped) name.

First introduced to U.S. collectors in late 2020, this variety is prized for its aesthetic appeal, large fruit size, and delightful taste, making it a standout addition to any jaboticaba collection.
