Pouteria sp. "PQ2" Seeds
Found primarily in Ecuador, though potentially in other regions as well, the Pouteria sp. "PQ2" is a small, flowering/bearing at an early ageprecocious fruit tree. It yields fruits that are about 4-5 cm in size, showcasing a yellow hue with a subtle white blush. Many who taste these fruits savor their ample sweet white pulp. Except for the seed and skin, every part of the fruit is edible. This species seems to have a connection to Pouteria caimito, commonly known as Abiu.
This particular variant is named in honor of the Ecuadorian grower, Pablo Quinte, abbreviated as "PQ."
