This medium to large tree reaches approximately 15 meters in height. Its fruits are known for being sweet with low latex content, making them more palatable and enjoyable for fresh consumption compared to some other latex-heavy Pouteria species. Given its native range and desirable fruit quality, this variety holds strong potential for regional agroforestry, biodiversity conservation, and specialty fruit cultivation in tropical and subtropical climates.
