Psidium guineensis

Psidium guineense, commonly known as the Brazilian guava, Guinea guava, or sour guava, is a species of guava native to South and Central America. This plant can either be a shrub, ranging from 1 to 3 meters tall, or a tree reaching up to 7 meters. The bark and foliage of the Psidium guineense are typically grayish, and the leaves can grow up to 14 centimeters long by 8 centimeters wide.

This species primarily grows in the seasonally dry tropical biome, indicating its preference for warm climates and periods of low rainfall.
