Psidium sp. "Araça feijoa de Mato Grosso"

Psidium sp. ‘Araçá Feijoa de Mato Grosso’ is a rare and compact shrub from the interior forests of Mato Grosso, Brazil, reaching up to 2 meters in height.  This plant produces elongated fruits that visually resemble the feijoa but are distinct in their origin and flavor. The fruits offer an outstandingly sweet and pleasant taste, making them an exciting discovery for fruit collectors and Myrtaceae enthusiasts. Though still largely unknown outside its native range, this species represents a hidden gem of Brazil’s diverse flora.
